Hi, my name is Cali Ravenwing.

I've been reading more the past few years.  I never know how much fun it could be.  Growing up I wasn't a strong reader.  I had trouble following a story or finding a book I really loved.  In the past years, I started reading new books that I never thought I would read before.  I love it now and have made it a true passion.  I have become friends with the authors, and let me tell you, it has been so rewarding.

Last year I learned about ARC reading, which is awesome.  It's really Advanced Reader Copies.  I get to review the book and post the review when it comes out.  It's pretty amazing!!!  I also started learning about another writer's process called Beta Reading.  I get the book in the writing process before it goes to publish.  From a reader's standpoint I look for things that don't add up and make suggestions of how it could be better.  

What an important role to play in the life of a book.  Readers can play a huge part in the success of a book.  It's a lot of fun.  The authors really appreciate the help and the support that we can provide for them.  

I took a six-day course online that taught me the process of getting a book published.  The things an author is counting on beta readers to find for them.  How to write a review and how to help the authors make the book the best it can be with hard work and teamwork.   After the book gets published, I have a special love for the book, because I was part of it's adventure of coming to life.  You really start to appreciate what authors go through when they write their books and what it means to them to have the support from readers.  The next stage is to promote the book and review the book.  That's where this website comes into play!!!

 

I have had an amazing experience working with amazing authors.  This site is meant to showcase the authors and their books.
