This is a new branch of Cali's Bookish Page.  Here you will find books for young readers and people who want an uplifting story.  

Okay So I loved the story of Cinderella growing up.  But after reading Becoming Cinder the original story is no longer as good.  This twist on the original story is by far better.  The world building was fantastic, and the characters were so intriguing.  This is a story for the whole family and art is something to behold!!!  

 The princess had everything taken from her and her love given to her cousin.  The dark twists and turns were something to behold!!!

five stars for sure

A princess in hiding with a huntsman to protect her. Christine Marshall has again taken her imagination to the extreme and retold this classic tale in a way that keeps the reader wanting more. The reader can identify with the characters and really feel all the emotions they deal with. The world building is phenomenal and so realistic, as a reader you can really enjoy entering her world to escape the mundane life we live. She has brilliantly connected Becoming Cinder and White as Snow. It is a book for the whole family and the illustrations are unlike anything else.

Oh my gosh when does the portal open to the world in A Magic Evermore.  What a page turning adventure.  Such a creative and original story.  It has a Never-ending Story vibe.  The critters running around this world sound like so much fun to be around.  The twists and turns and self-realization of Mirri, the main character, is something that most people can identify with.  It's an exceptional story for any age.  Clean, no romance, moral to the story is fantastic for your readers.  A 5-star rating and top of my list for YA and fantasy readers.
